Solar Heating System Warranties
GHE Solar provides a no questions warranty on all systems we install. This warranty covers the installation work and the equipment for 12 months. We also offer extra warranties for specified equipment, for example 5 years on inverters.
However some customers like to have the extra peace of mind that comes from an independent insurance backed warranty.
All PV installations include an indepedant warranty. This warranty is provided by IWA a company who specialise in this service and who have been operating for over 25 years. Our solar thermal customers are able to purchase an independent warranty for their system at a cost of £100.
This warranty provides the customer with a remedy for issues that arise with the system in a situation where the customer is unable to obtain a solution from GHE Solar. This may be due to GHE Solar having ceased trading or some similar situation. While we would never envisage this happening this warranty provides the customer with added peace of mind.
The length of the warranty is 5 or 10 years, depending on which product, and covers any remedial works required to restore a system to operational order that would normally be the responsibility of the installer.
