What is Cavity Wall Insulation?
If your house was built after the 1920s, it is likely to have cavity walls, whereas older houses are more likely to have solid walls. Cavity wall insulation fills the gap in between the walls and keeps the heat from escaping. The insulation is blown into the walls through drill holes on the external walls of the property by a machine. Once the insulation is in, we fill up the holes and if necessary paint over them.
