The exact details of how the process will work have not yet been announced but more than likely it will be something along these lines.... (we will update as soon as we know!)
Firstly you will need to contact "Simple Energy Advice" who will check your Energy Performance Certificate and recommend improvements that could be made to your property along with a list of Trustmark Approved installers in your area
Our surveyor will arrange a convenient date and time with you to come to the property and complete a technical survey. This takes no more than 45 minutes and involves having a look around the property (inside and outside) to ensure it is suitable for loft/ wall/ underfloor insulation, Solar Thermal panels, etc. and gather any other details that may be required.

After the tecnical survey is complete our surveyor will go back to the office and work out a quotation for any/all improvements that can be carried out.
Then we will give you a call to go through everything with you and send you a copy for you to consider. If you have any questions about the quote just let us know!
Once you have your voucher for the portion of the work that is going to be funded by the scheme and you are satisfied with the amount that you will have to pay for the remainder - then you are ready to book in the installation....
(at the moment it's not clear how the "voucher" will be issued but we will update when we know).
The length of time the install will take will depend on how many improvements are being carried out. On average it's about
The install requires access to the property and the installers may need access to an electric supply for their tools (but don’t worry this is kept to a minimum!). This means there must be someone at the property to let them in, there is also paperwork which must be signed at the end of the install – so somebody will need to be home for this too.
