With recent reductions in the Feed-in tariff for solar panel installations some people are wondering if solar panels are still a great investment. The simple and encouraging answer is yes and here are a few reasons!
Prices of installations have decreased over the last few years. This means that at the new 21p Feed-in tariff solar panel installations from GHE are achieving returns higher than under the 43p rate applicable when the scheme was introduced.
Energy prices are not going to decrease! If you have solar panels installed you are protecting yourself from some of the effects of increasing energy cost. The sooner you install solar panel the soon you gain that protection and the more you gain from it.
The world still needs to combat climate change. By installing solar panels you are helping to reduce carbon emission and investing in everybody’s future.
So yes Solar Panels are still a great investment.
