Australian carbon price announced

The Australian government have announced the details of their carbon price scheme. The initial price is to be at AU$23 to come into effect on 1st July 2012. The scheme will move towards a floating price and trading scheme after implementation.
This is another example of a country implementing policies to deal with climate change and develop a clean energy economy for the future. With this price mechanism coming into effect it will push forward the development of renewable energy. Solar panel development s will be helped by this scheme and solar panels will be one of the drivers of a clean energy economy.
Well done to the Australian government.
